NICOLE ROBERTS
JONES, MSW is the Founder
and Chief Executive Officer of Imani Corporation. Mrs. Roberts Jones has over (15)
fifteen years experience in nonprofit management,
has worked with at-risk youth for over 17 years and also has experience
developing programs and securing funding opportunities in non-profit,
faith based and school based settings. Nicole has been a part time
lecturer in the University of Southern California (USC) School
of Social Work, the Boston University School of Social Work and is a founding member of the Faith Based Office
Collaborative Council which is a partnership between the California
Council of Churches and the Department of Public Social Services
that was established to help faith based organizations build their
programmatic and funding capacity. She is also a 2007 Best of You
Award Recipient by Glamour Magazine. Mrs. Roberts Jones holds a Master of
Social Work Degree from University of Southern California (USC).

REV. NAJUMA SMITH POLLARD
is the Pastor of St James AME church in Los Angeles and is
certain that her ministries focus is on inner-city youth and
young adults. In 1997, after having spent nine years as an
active lay member at First AME Church (FAME), Los Angeles she
joined the Ministerial staff of FAME, under the fathering
guidance and love of then Pastor, Rev., Dr. Cecil L. “Chip”
Murray. Her first ten years of ministry have been a spiritually
growing time in which Najuma has been able to preach nationally
and internationally in Spain and Israel; speak at various
conferences, participate in community panel discussions, and
network with some of the countries greatest ministers,
politicians and entertainers. In May of 2006, she was a guest
speaker at Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, MD, which aired
nationwide on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Najuma has a
Bachelors of Science in Management from Pepperdine University,
a Bachelors of Theology, from Southern California School of
Ministry and a Master of Business Administration from Woodbury

CFO
TERRINA SCOTT,
is currently a Meeting and Event Professional for the Los Angeles
County Bar Association. Over the past 10 years Terrina has worked
in various capacities of the meeting and event professional
industry. She was a Catering Sales Manager for Starwood Hotels &
Resorts specifically working with the Sheraton & Westin brands and
Special Events Sales Manager for the House of Blues Sunset. Terrina
continues her passion of events through Minor Details Productions, a
Los Angeles based event Production Company where she is founder and
managing partner. Terrina and her partners have been in business
for over three years and continue to find new and innovative ways to
produce events. Prior to joining the distinguished board of
directors for Imani Corporation Terrina was a volunteer for
Maximize, Imani’s largest fundraising project for two years and then
went on to successfully produce the event for Imani. Terrina holds a
culinary and bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University in
Rhode Island, serves on the alumni leadership committee for Johnson
& Wales- Los Angeles Chapter, is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority, Incorporated, a member of NAWBO (National Association of
Women Business Owners), and a board member of the 74th
Street Gifted and Talented Magnet Parent Teach Association. Terrina

Secretary
ERIKA MILLER
WASHINGTON, MA is
Transfer Center
Coordinator /Counselor at Los Angeles Southwest
College. She assists students in developing programs of study which will
help them in attaining their educational goals. Prior, Ms. Miller served
as an educator with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Ms. Miller
has taught on the middle school, high school, and college level for eleven
years. She brings her unique experience of classroom teaching and college
level guidance counseling to her love of writing as she is currently working
on her first novel. Ms. Miller holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. |

TOWALAME AUSTIN
provides strategic leadership and direction to one of the leading
philanthropic organizations in the nation as President of the Magic
Johnson Foundation. She manages the daily operations and continued
growth of the Foundation by expanding its research base, solidifying
new partnerships, securing corporate sponsorships, coordinating
fundraising initiatives and implementing programs that serve the
educational, health and social needs of ethnically diverse urban
communities. Towalame has played a critical role in establishing and
maintaining partnerships with Abbott, AIDS Healthcare Foundation,
Best Buy, Freddie Mac, Microsoft, Remy Martin and Samsung. She
helped to launch the award-winning,
I Stand with Magic,
campaign to end Black HIV/AIDS in 2006. To date, the campaign has
tested over 23,000 people. Towalame spearheads the Foundation’s
commitment to higher education through the Taylor Michael’s
Scholarship program and she also advances the Foundation’s goal of
providing underserved communities with access to technology and
information through The Magic Johnson Community Empowerment
Centers.. She holds a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies
from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. |

KEISHA WRIGHT
is currently Director of Partnership Marketing with Macy’s Parade &
Entertainment Group. Headquartered in New York City, this group is
responsible for the planning, logistics, execution and marketing of
Macy’s annual iconic events, including Macy’s Thanksgiving Day
Parade. A Director of Partnership Marketing, Keisha is charged with
generating revenue through the creation of strategic alliances with
well-known consumer brands. She is a former youth trendspotter and
frequently contributed to industry publications on the topic of
youth trends. Keisha has worked for the NBA, Teen People and MTV
Networks, helping them to create and launch multi-platform marketing
campaigns, inclusive of cause marketing initiatives, immersive
events and grassroots experiences, that bring brands to life. Prior
to her career as a marketing executive, Keisha spent 10 years in the
field of Education, as both a teacher and lead curriculum developer
for the University of California 4-H After School Activity Program.
In this role, she created enrichment programs for children living in
and near public housing communities throughout Los Angeles County.
During her tenure with the University of California, she received
the Department of Agriculture Secretary’s Award for Excellence. She
is a Founding member of the advisory board of Imani Phi Christ, and
holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Stanford University and
a Master’s Degree in Education from Pepperdine University. Keisha
currently resides in New Jersey. |

KIM SEALY
is Executive Sales Director of Integrated Sales for Working Mother
Media with focus of corporate and diversity brand advertising
including print, digital and conferences/events as well as Diversity
Best Practices- a membership organization and National Association
for Female Executives. Working Mother Media is a subsidiary of
Bonnier Publishing. Kim’s advertising career began over 12 years
ago and has included work at JET magazine -Johnson Publishing and
Teen People magazine. Kim’s work at Working Mother Magazine has
included her roles of Sales Account Manager specializing in the
pharmaceutical industry, Sales Development Director assisting in
developing the re-launch of
www.workingmother.com along with managing a 1.5
million revenue generated account list and Eastern Advertising
Director where she managed the New York sales team and continued
strategic development and implementation of the website and
advertising campaigns. In June of 2010, Kim’s role changed to
incorporate Diversity Best Practices, NAFE and conferences and
event. In this current role, she is responsible for corporate print
and digital advertising, DBP member sales, client management and
consulting and WMM conference/events sales. She currently focuses on
the diversity and inclusion initiatives within the advertising
agency industry and responsible for increasing their DBP member
growth. She received her M.A. in Media Studies/Mass Communication
from the New School University in New York City along with a B.S. in
Business Management from State University of New Paltz, New Paltz
NY. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
where she has served many roles including Scholarship chair. She
has experience working with other non-profit organizations and has
served on boards with focus on youth specifically young girls. Kim
currently lives in Mahwah, NJ but remains a proud New Yorker/Brooklynite. |

NATALIE WILSON
is the Executive Assistant to Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Chairman and
Chief Executive Office of Magic Johnson Enterprises. She is
responsible for the extensive management of Mr. Johnson's calendar,
coordinating all meetings, travel, and speaking engagements as well
as the 50/50 partnership between Starbucks Coffee Company. Prior to
this role, Ms. Wilson first joined the company in 2000 as a
Marketing Director under Magic Johnson Music, and worked as a legal
assistant for the Co-Chairman at the mega entertainment law firm
Loeb & Loeb. Ms. Wilson also holds an extensive background in the
music industry working alongside heavyweights Jheryl Busby, Clarence
Avant and Andre Harrell. She also had the pleasure of working with
artists such as the legendary Stevie Wonder, Teena Marie, Diana
Ross, Brian McKnight, Wayman Tisdale, Queen Latifah, Al B Sure,
Shanice Wilson, Boyz II Men, Avant, 98 Degrees, and Mint Condition.
Ms. Wilson's passion and commitment to serve others through her
work has been a true testament to her 20 years of experience. She
volunteers her time with the Magic Johnson Foundation focusing on
their mission to address the educational, health and social needs of
ethnically diverse, urban communities. Some of her hobbies include
singing and interior design. Ms. Wilson is a Certified Notary and a
member of the National Notary Association and the prestigious
organization Association of Celebrity Personal Assistants (ACPA) and
also sits on the board of Imani Corporation. Ms. Wilson currently
resides in Los Angeles, California |
