An old missionary visited a Church and preached a sermon, ‘Are you on the edge of a Crisis, or the edge of a miracle’. Attending that day for the first time was the husband of a dear Christian, who had prayed for him for seven years. He was riddled with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
The sermon finished, a ministry time was offered, the husband didn’t move. I’m sure the wife was willing him to go and get prayer. Eventually he did seek prayer and over the coming weeks, came to know Jesus and was completely healed. 20 years on, he’s going strong, doing short term missions work overseas. Hebrews 10:23 suggests ‘we hold fast to the confession of our hope’. (NIV)
Are you on the edge of a crisis? Or the edge of a miracle? No circumstance is too big for God. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Quote
The edge of a crisis? or the edge of a miracle? – Pray!
Prayer
Father, I bring my need to you today and ask that you turn the issue into a miracle in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Action Point
Perhaps you know someone who is going through a crisis, why not offer to pray for them or do something that will encourage their faith toward a miracle.
