Jesus Changes Everything

There are some New Testament stories, told by more than one writer. The story of the woman with the issue of blood is one, found in Matthew 9, Mark 5 & Luke 8. Luke recounts in Luke 8:46 Jesus saying, ‘Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me’.

We know from these passages, the lady was desperate, she had spent all she had trying to find a cure, had seen many doctors, and lost most of her friends. I’m sure she would have preferred a quiet sit down with Jesus to explain her problem, yet the crowd dashed those hopes. She had to muster her last strength just to even touch Him. She was healed – Hallelujah.

If you have a need where everything you have tried to do to fix it, has failed, maybe it’s time to turn to Jesus and reach out to His power today.
