Have You Done A Life Audit?

Updated: Jan 25

If you ever get stuck in a rut, it might be time to do a life audit. Listing all the things you do, your weaknesses and strengths, activities, relationships, time on devices and watching TV etc. On that same piece of paper, you’ll also see how much you pray and study your bible. 2 Corinthians 13:5 that we need to examine ourselves spiritually and see how we are doing.

Whether it’s once a year or every five years, this kind of process will reveal some of the things that cause stress, that makes you fed up or even angry, also that cause joy and the things that make you feel good and feel safe.

Laying your life out like this, you’ll identify the issues, a toxic friendship, too much work, no downtime, little prayer. The exercise might also be the thing that gets your relationship with God back on track.

Quote Being intentional in life, will bring focus, peace, and joy.

Prayer Heavenly Father, guide me as I do this, to highlight the things I should and shouldn’t be doing, in Your Name, Amen.

Action Point

Get a notebook and start listing everything you do and then bring it before God to see what you have more focus on and what to let go of.
