The Jabez Prayer

I love the 'Living Bible’ version of Jabez Prayer which says in 1 Chronicles 4:10 - ’He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would wonderfully bless me and help me in my work; please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all evil and disaster!” And God granted him his request’. (TLB)

What a great prayer! In God keeping us from evil, we also protect those around us from our anger and wrath. Living a prayer life like Jabez, brings such a rich opportunity for a faith filled future. I will definitely be praying the Jabez prayer in the months to come.

May your days be filled with blessing and joy, may your misery be diminished and your Sin, if you have any be, conquered. Life here on earth is to serve others and introduce them to Jesus.

Action Point

Think about what you get frustrated with and work to change that for good.
