A Life Given Over - Hudson Taylor

In 1854, at 22 years old, Hudson Taylor left behind his family and friends, and set out on a mission to China which had huge impact. During his 51 years there, Taylor brought over 800 missionaries to China, started 125 schools, led over 18,000 people to Christ and established hundreds of help stations across all 18 provinces.

Any life which is fully given over has the potential to touch a nation, even the eorld.

Matthew 4:18-22 recounts Andrew and Simon Peter becoming the first two disciples, ‘they left their nets and followed Him’. In that moment, the businesses they ran, their own friends and family became distant and the fullness of their calling became their focal point. Is it time to take the plunge and have a go at something big? The bigger the vision is, will be proof that only God working through you can do it!
