The Three Coin Principle

Updated: Feb 10

00234 - The Three Coin Principle

On a visit to my nephew, I said ‘Daniel (6), hold out your hand and close your eyes’. I had three pounds for him. Then I felt guilty, he could buy more with five pounds. Without telling him I went to retrieve the three coins and put a note there instead.

Daniel recoiled his hand. I explained to him, which brought a smile to his face. In that moment I felt the Lord speak to my heart, ‘You are like that, you won’t let me take something from you to then bless you’.

1 Corinthians 12:31 says ‘But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.’ (NKJV) There are moments in lie when God might come and say it’s time to let something go. In that moment, know He may well have something better for you down the road. Open your hand today!

Quote Always be open handed to the opportunity of God.

Prayer

Father help me to know when time is up on something. That I could let it go and embrace what you have for me next. Amen

Action Point

You’ll have to be honest and brave. If God is speaking to you, take action today and move on in grace.
