The Value Of A Letter

Back in the days before emails, sms messages and WhatsApp, you either met and spoke with a friend, which meant your outlook was local, or would write a letter and pop it in the post if they lived further afield.
What was common place then (Letter Writing) is rare now and what was rare then (the internet) is common place now. Ironically, these days, someone receiving and then reading a letter means more to them than a hundred emails.
By doing this kind act, you would be as Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3:2-3, ‘You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.’ (NIV) Praise God!
Quote
We are a living letter to the world from Jesus Christ.
Prayer
Lord, help me convey Jesus through my words and actions, that when people see me they read of Him. Amen.
Action Point
Pick a few people you haven’t seen for a while, and write them a hand written letter, they will be so pleased to hear from you in this way.
