Spiritual Gift : Faith

Part of outlining the spiritual gifts, Paul references in 1 Corinthians 12:9 ‘to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit.’ (NIV)

For some operating in the spiritual gift of faith is like another person operating in the spiritual gift of healing, for another prophecy, for another discernment. Each of us will know people who have these gifts, we see them in operation in their everyday lives.

If you don’t operate in the gift of faith, ask God for it. If God doesn’t give it to you, make friends with someone who does. Sometimes asking someone that operates in the gift of faith to pray for an issue you are going through will see the breakthrough. Often in life we just don’t think about this enough to take action. Fellowshipping among those with spiritual gifts is a blessing which we could utilise.

Lord help me to seek after operating in a spiritual gift. Amen.

Action Point

Praying in faith for anything is always easier with a small group of friends, their combined faith can carry you through.
