The Armour Of God

Ephesians 6:10-11 says, ‘Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.’ (NLT)

That armour speaks of truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation and the word of God. Imagine how easier our lives would be if we remembered to use these tools in our daily walk. Speaking truth in love, acting within divine law, living peacefully and in faith, always having the assurance of our salvation and discerning the world around us through the lens of the Bible. What a walk we would have.

This portion of Ephesians is such great advice for any Christians walk, with it we could avoid many of the scrapes we get into in life. The assurance of this chapter is being able to stand against the plans of satan. Praise God.

The armour of God is just that, helping keep us steadfast and sure.

Prayer

Help me Lord to build the armour of God into my daily routine. Amen.
