Helping People Rejoice

Updated: Feb 12

The Oxford Dictionary’s definition of ‘rejoice,’ is to feel or show great joy or delight. Only six people in every 100 of the UK population are church attending Christians. The majority of the people who are neighbours and work colleagues don’t have faith in Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 one of the shortest verses in the Bible says ‘Rejoice always,’ (NASB)

When you have faith, your heart and mind can immediately gravitate back to rejoicing.

We can thank God for freedom from the eternal damnation of sin, for everything good God has given us. Having a positive disposition is infectious. Living with a rejoicing heart is wonderfully magnetic. People see it, want to know why and will always want to spend time with those who do rejoice. You never know in those conversations, one day they may turn to Jesus, and then rejoice the way you do. Pray for that!

Quote

Those who have had a profound salvation, know it’s easy to rejoice.

Prayer

Lord, help me have a deeper understanding of what it means to rejoice in You. Amen.

Action Point

Make a list of every good thing that has happened in your Christian walk. This will help you rejoice.
