I The Lord Of Sea And Sky

Updated: Feb 13

This lovely song was written in 1981 and based on Isaiah 6:8 which says, ‘Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom should I send? Who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”’ (NLV)

Have you ever thought about ‘Send Me’ being a partnership between you and God? It's a conversation between a willing Christian and God. God is asking whom He can send into the harvest field, and the Christian responds with Here am I, Send me!

It’s the greatest privilege to work in God’s Kingdom. Doing anything big or small which can further the cause of Christ, is the thing we should focus on. Then, the Lord of sea and sky will anoint you for the service you will provide Him. Don’t give up your work for Him, it will have an outcome, and you will definitely see a reward.

Quote

The biggest privilege of life is to be ‘’sent’ by Him.

Prayer

Father, my only prayer today is here I am, Lord, send me. Amen.
