Faith As A Lifestyle

Updated: Feb 17

Faith is not merely a fleeting emotion or an isolated event but a lifestyle. It is the underpinning of our relationship with God and should permeate every aspect of our lives, from our thoughts and actions to our relationships and decision-making.

Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as "confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (NIV) Living a life of faith means walking in confidence and assurance, even when we can't see the path ahead.

This faith-filled lifestyle includes trusting God's character and promises, even when circumstances are challenging. It means turning to Him in prayer, studying His Word, and allowing prayer to guide our choices. Faith impacts our interactions with others to love, forgive, and serve. Ultimately, a lifestyle of faith is a journey of growing deeper in our relationship with God, continually seeking to align our lives with His will and purpose.

Quote The more you exercise faith, the more you reflect God’s heart.

Prayer

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of faith. Please help me to live by faith to its full potential. Amen.

Action Point

Think about where you don’t exercise faith and try to exercise faith there.
