God Uses Imperfect People

Updated: Feb 17

Throughout biblical history, God has demonstrated His remarkable ability to use imperfect people to fulfil His perfect plans. Rather than seeking flawless individuals, God often chooses individuals with weaknesses, flaws, and past mistakes, turning their stories into testimonies of grace and redemption.

Moses, for instance, doubted his capabilities and even had a speech impediment. Yet, in Exodus 4:10-12 (NKJV), he tells the Lord, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent... but slow of speech and slow of tongue." The Lord replies, "Who has made man's mouth?... Have not I, the Lord? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say."

This interchange emphasises that our imperfections are not limitations for God. If anything, they amplify His power. As believers, we can take heart, knowing that our inadequacies allow God's strength and grace to shine even brighter through us by His grace.

Quote Our imperfections are not God’s limitations.
