Human endeavour encapsulates our drive, our innate longing to explore, create, and push the boundaries of what is known. Throughout history, we've seen this quest for discovery, from art and science to exploration of the land and stars. The Bible, too, acknowledges and, in many ways, champions the spirit of human endeavour.
In Colossians 3:23 (ESV), we are advised, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." This passage underscores that our efforts, no matter how grand or humble, should be infused with a sense of purpose, dedication, and commitment. It is a reminder that every endeavour gains eternal significance when done with God in focus.
In essence, the Bible encourages our pursuits, urging us to bring excellence, passion, and integrity into everything we do, with the understanding that our truest and most profound endeavours are those done in service and adoration of God.
Quote In everything you do, Glorify God.
Prayer
Lord, help me honour you in everything I do. Amen.
