People Watching

Updated: Feb 17

People-watching can be a fun and delightful exercise in observation, often revealing the myriad ways people express themselves, interact, and go about their lives. In parks, cafes, or busy streets, one can witness tender moments between couples, the innocent play of children, the way people dress, and the animated tales of old friends reunited.

It brings to mind Psalm 139:14 (NIV): "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Each individual, with their quirks, expressions, and interactions, is a testament to the wonderful complexity of God's creation.

Through the fun lens of people-watching, we are gently reminded of the diversity and beauty inherent in each person. It serves as a visual affirmation of God's creativity, showcasing the vast array of characters and stories He's penned into existence, each playing their unique part in the grand tapestry of life.

Quote When you watch people, you are watching God’s creation in action.

Prayer

Lord, never let me judge someone for how they look or act. Amen.

Action Point

Why not turn people-watching into a prayer session and just quietly pray for the people you watch?
