Preparation Is Key

Preparation is more than a good idea; it's a discipline that sets the tone for any workday or significant event. It's akin to putting on the whole armour of God, equipping us to face whatever challenges lie ahead. Ephesians 6:11 (TLB) says, "Put on all of God’s armour so that you will be able to stand safe." Just as a soldier wouldn't go into battle unprepared, neither should we face our day without preparing through prayer.

When we start our day with prayerful preparation, we often sleep better and work more efficiently. Our minds are more focused, and our hearts are more settled.

By consistently embedding prayer into our preparation process, we invite God's presence into every facet of our lives, from professional obligations to personal endeavours. In doing so, we don't just get things done—we call them done in a manner that reflects our faith in God.

Lord, would You lay on my heart what I should focus on tomorrow? Amen
