Don’t Live In Regret

Living in regret is like being shackled to the past; it hampers our ability to move forward and embrace God's grace. Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV) says, “…But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

Holding onto regret often stems from an inability to forgive ourselves. Yet, if we truly believe in the redemptive power of Christ's sacrifice, we must also accept that His grace is sufficient for our shortcomings. Forgiving ourselves is the first step in shedding the weight of the past, allowing God's love to fill our lives and redefine our identity.

Free from the chains of the past, we can then live a life that truly reflects the glory and hope found in Christ. Let go of that negative memory today.
