Intellect

Updated: Feb 17

How do you view your intellectual capabilities? In the eyes of God, everyone is gifted with a unique set of abilities. James 1:17 (NASB) states, "Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow." This acknowledges that our intellect, like other talents, is a divine gift intended for purposeful use.

If you struggle with self-doubt or lack confidence in your intellectual capabilities, remember that God Himself is the ultimate source of all intellect. When you rely on His wisdom, you tap into an inexhaustible supply of knowledge and understanding. By acknowledging God as the author of our intelligence, we allow Him to guide us in applying our intellectual abilities wisely.

So, don't underestimate yourself. Tap into God to contribute, learn, and grow while learning from the eternal wisdom of the Creator.

Quote

Never underestimate who you are in God; you reflect Him.

Prayer

Lord, thank You that You believe in me. That I can learn from You. Amen.

Action Point

When confronted with someone who thinks they know more about life than you, remember you know the one who created everything.
