The Longest Undefined Border

Updated: Feb 18

Canada boasts the longest undefended border in the world, stretching thousands of miles alongside its neighbour, the United States, a testimony of peace and openness between nations.

The Kingdom of God is like that. Ephesians 2:19 (NIV) says, “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household.” This scripture beautifully illustrates that in God’s Kingdom, all are welcome, and there are no barriers to entry, no passports required, and no customs to pass through. The Kingdom is open to all who accept the invitation of salvation through Jesus Christ.

In the eyes of God, we are all neighbours, called to live without walls, with a shared purpose in God. When you disagree with someone about theology or doctrine, remember you live in the same country (Kingdom) of God, your purpose being to reach the lost at any cost.

Quote

There is one country in God, no borders, just unity.

Prayer

Thank You, Lord, that we as Christians have a common aim to reach people for Jesus. Amen.

Action Point

Ensure you appreciate Christian friends from other traditions when your common belief is in Jesus.
