Being Burgled

Being burgled is an experience that goes far beyond losing possessions; it violates personal sanctuary, invades personal space, and changes your view of where you stay. The Bible speaks to this empathy in Hebrews 13:3 (NIV), "Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering."

The distress of coming home to find your space ransacked and rifled through changes your sense of security. It's not just the loss of objects but the intrusion into one's personal life that cuts deep.

As believers, we can lift these individuals in prayer, asking for comfort and peace to be restored to them. In doing so, we practice the compassion and care that Christ shows all of us. Never forget to pray for protection over the place you live, then you might not be burgled anyway.
