Review The Year

Updated: Feb 18

As the year draws to a close, it presents an opportune moment for reflection and introspection. It’s a time to celebrate achievements and acknowledge areas where we fell short, understanding that each experience is a step in our faith and personal development journey.

Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV) offers guidance in this process: "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

As we look to the new year, it’s important to identify what we need to release and what we should pursue with renewed faith and prayer. Letting go of old grudges, fears, or unhelpful habits paves the way for a fresh start. Let the year begin in prayer.

Quote

Always plan the coming year, soaked in prayer.

Prayer

Lord, as I think about the year ahead, please be part of every aspect. Amen.

Action Point

It’s always healthy to let go of one or two things; what are they for you?
