Fruit Of The Spirit - Charity

Updated: Feb 18

Often equated with love, charity goes beyond feelings; it's about selfless actions and attitudes towards others. Exhibiting charity daily means showing unconditional kindness, generosity, and compassion. This self-giving love is a powerful way to reflect the character of Jesus to those around us.

In 1 Corinthians 13:2 (ESV), Paul writes, "And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing."

Through acts of kindness, generosity, and understanding, we demonstrate the nature of Jesus to others. Charity is not just an emotion but an active choice to put others’ needs before our own, to forgive, serve, and love without expecting anything in return. In doing so, we become living testimonies of God’s love and grace, shining His light in a world that desperately needs it. Express God’s love today.
