He Made Your Ears To Hear Him

God created us with ears not just to hear the world's sounds but also to discern His voice amidst the clamour of life. He communicates with us in various ways – through Scripture, the beauty of creation, the counsel of others, and the quiet promptings of the Holy Spirit.

1 Kings 19:11-12 (NLT) describes how God revealed Himself to Elijah in a whisper, not in the wind, earthquake, or fire. This passage highlights that God’s communication often defies our expectations. It’s in the still, small voice that we frequently find His profoundest messages.

To hear God’s voice, we must practice attentive listening, tuning our ears to His frequency. It’s about intentionally seeking His presence, ready to listen and respond. As we learn to pay attention and listen closely, we open ourselves to the depth and richness of God’s guidance and wisdom, enriching our journey and deepening our relationship with Him.
