Believing In The Wrong Hero

Updated: Feb 20

In today's digital age, young adults are increasingly influenced by the allure of music icons and internet celebrities; in Psalm 146:3 (NKJV), the Bible cautions us, "Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help." This verse reminds us that true fulfilment and guidance cannot be found in mortal beings who are themselves navigating life's uncertainties.

As mentors and guides, it's our responsibility to direct the youth towards the enduring figure of admiration: Jesus Christ. Jesus embodies unconditional love, eternal wisdom, and sacrificial grace. He is the epitome of selflessness, having laid down His life for our salvation, and His teachings continue to transform lives across generations and cultures.

Fostering a relationship with Christ, they anchor their lives in someone who empowers them to navigate life's challenges with grace and strength, setting a course towards true fulfilment and purpose.

Quote

The true hero of our lives is Jesus.

Prayer

Lord, I pray for the young people. I know that they will have a relationship with Jesus. Amen.

Action Point

Don’t hesitate to talk to young adults about Jesus; they are searching for direction.
