Healthy Living

One key aspect is maintaining a balanced diet. Eating nutritious foods gives our bodies the energy and nutrients to function correctly. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV) reminds us, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honour God with your bodies.”


Regular exercise is key. Exercise strengthens our bodies, improves our mental health, and helps us manage stress. By staying active, we show gratitude for the physical abilities God has given us and ensure we can serve Him effectively in our daily lives.


Finally, getting enough good sleep and taking time to relax helps maintain our emotional and spiritual health. Taking care of ourselves allows us to better cope with life's challenges and be more present and effective in our ministries and relationships.

Prayer

Help me, Lord, to do what my body needs to serve You well. Amen.

If you miss out on diet, exercise or sleep, focus on one thing to fix first.
