Finding Identity In Christ

Updated: Feb 23

Finding your identity in Christ means understanding and embracing that our actual value and purpose come from our relationship with Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (TLB) says, "When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand-new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun!"

Discovering our identity in Christ frees us from the pressures of seeking approval from others or measuring ourselves by worldly standards. We realise that we are loved unconditionally and that our worth is found in being children of God. This really allows us to live authentically and boldly.

Living in this identity empowers us to fulfil our God-given purpose. We are called to reflect Christ's love and grace daily, using our unique gifts and talents to serve others. By grounding our identity in Christ, we can navigate life's challenges with resilience and joy, knowing that our foundation is secure in Him.
