Forgotten

Updated: Feb 23

In the busyness of life, it’s easy to lose touch with people who once meant a lot to us—friends, family members, or even mentors. The Bible encourages us to value and nurture our relationships. Proverbs 27:10 (ESV) says, “Do not forsake your friend and your father’s friend, and do not go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity.”

Reconnecting is an opportunity to mend brokenness, seek forgiveness, or catch up on life when there has been time apart. Often, these relationships are more significant than we realise and reaching out can bless both parties.

If someone has come to mind, perhaps it’s a nudge from God to reconnect. A simple message or call could make a big difference, rekindling the bond and bringing joy to both hearts. Let’s not overlook these valuable connections but cherish and nurture them as part of our walk with God.

Lord, help me to be mindful of the people I am not in touch with, I pray. Amen.
