Commitment to God is an essential part of our faith. It’s not just about believing in Him but actively trusting and following His will, even when it’s complicated. Genuine commitment means holding fast to God’s promises and seeking His guidance in every area of life. This daily choice to walk with Him strengthens our faith, especially in challenging times.
Exercising faith in God is about action as much as belief. James 2:26 reminds us, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" (NKJV). Our commitment is seen in how we live, pray, and love others. Each step of obedience is a declaration that we trust God completely.
When we stay committed to God, we grow deeper in faith. Even when we don’t understand, we can confidently place our lives in His hands, knowing He is faithful and will never fail us.
Quote
Commitment requires effort, always under-promise and over-deliver.
Prayer
Lord, help me fulfil the commitments I have made as I serve You. Amen.
Action Point
Make a list of the things you have promised and see if there is a better way to achieve them.
