Do Not Be Deceived

Updated: Feb 23

The enemy’s schemes are subtle yet destructive, designed to deceive and lead us away from God’s truth. His one aim is to destroy our relationship with God and distort His purpose for our lives. But as believers, we are not powerless. By standing firm in God’s Word and remaining alert, we can resist the lure of the evil one and walk in victory.

1 Peter 5:8 warns us, “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (ESV). It’s a tough verse to read, but it's true. Stay vigilant and anchored in Christ, knowing that the enemy’s traps can be avoided when we rely on God’s strength.

To guard your heart and mind, immerse yourself in Scripture and prayer. With God as your defender, the devil’s schemes lose power over your life, and you can walk confidently in His light.

Quote

Stay alert; God equips you to stand firm against the enemy’s schemes.

Prayer

Lord, keep my heart and mind fixed on You so the enemy’s lies do not deceive me.

Action Point

Commit to daily Bible reading to equip yourself with God’s truth against the enemy’s traps.
