The Fire Within

The fire within—the passion, strength, and Spirit of God—can always surpass the trials we face. Life’s challenges may feel overwhelming, like walking through flames, but the power of God within us is greater than anything we encounter. When we rely on His strength, we are not consumed by the fire but refined and strengthened through it.

1 John 4:4 reminds us, “My dear children, you belong to God and have defeated them; because God’s Spirit, who is in you, is greater than the devil, who is in the world” (NCV). What a great reminder of the power of God in us. This assures us that the fire within, fuelled by God’s Spirit, empowers us to overcome every challenge with courage and faith.
