01464 - In The Shadow Of His Wings

There is always unique safety in God, a place described as the shadow of His wings. It is not distant or unreachable. It is close, personal, and protective. When life feels exposed or uncertain, this image reminds you that God’s care surrounds you in ways you cannot always see.

Picture what it means to take shelter there. You are not striving to defend yourself or carry every burden alone. Instead, you rest under His covering. This is where fear begins to lose its hold and peace starts to settle. Trust grows as you recognise that God is both your refuge and your strength, holding you securely.

Scripture says, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart” (Psalm 91:4 NIV). This is not temporary protection. It is enduring care that meets you in every season.
