01466 - Forgive Everyone

Forgiveness shapes thoughts and responses in ways that are not always obvious. It holds onto past wounds and keeps them present. Yet forgiveness is not about denying what happened. It is about releasing its hold over you. God invites you into freedom, not through forgetting, but through letting go.
Consider what happens when you forgive. The weight begins to lift, and space is created for healing. Forgiveness does not excuse wrong, but it restores your heart to peace. It reflects the mercy you have received from God. When you choose to forgive, you step into alignment with His nature and open the door for restoration within yourself.
Scripture reminds us, “In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do. You can’t get forgiveness from God for instance without also forgiving others” (Matthew 6:14 to 15 MSG). Forgiveness is both a gift and a calling.
