01540 - Abiding In Christ
Abiding in Christ is more than believing in Him occasionally or turning to Him only in difficult moments. Just as a branch draws life from the vine, the believer draws spiritual strength, peace, and fruitfulness from remaining connected to Jesus. Just think about that.
When you abide in Christ, your heart becomes anchored in His presence rather than controlled by changing emotions or circumstances. His words begin to shape your thinking, His peace steadies your spirit, and His love flows through your life toward others. Abiding is not striving harder to appear spiritual.
John 15:5 (CSB) says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.” True spiritual fruit grows from closeness with Christ. The more deeply you remain in Him, the more His life will be reflected through yours.
