01546 - Finding Stillness In Him

The world pulls the heart toward noise, distraction, and endless activity. Many people carry restless thoughts and hidden anxieties without ever slowing down long enough to breathe deeply in God’s presence. Yet the Lord invites His people into a place of stillness where peace begins to settle over the soul again.
Stillness is not emptiness or inactivity. It is quiet confidence in the faithfulness of God. In stillness, fears lose their grip, hurried thoughts calm down, and the heart becomes more aware of His nearness. God often speaks most clearly when the noise fades and the spirit becomes attentive to Him once again.
Psalm 46:10 (ESV) says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Stillness reminds you that God remains sovereign over every circumstance and every concern. When you pause before Him, your heart is strengthened with peace, perspective, and renewed trust in His unchanging presence and power.
