01566 - Desert Times
Desert seasons can feel painfully long, where prayers seem unanswered and every step demands perseverance. Yet God often does His deepest work there, stripping away distractions until His voice becomes enough. He has not abandoned you. He is preparing you.
Resist the urge to escape every difficult moment. Stay close to the Lord, keep listening, keep praying, and keep obeying. Desert places teach dependence, deepen character, and awaken fresh expectancy. What seems empty today may soon overflow with God's unexpected provision and renewed purpose ahead.
Isaiah 43:19 (MSG) says, “Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand new.” Trust the God who creates rivers in wastelands and hope in weary hearts. Your desert is not your destination but the pathway towards deeper faith, stronger hope, lasting joy, and His glorious fulfilment. Keep walking, because the One who leads you through the wilderness will faithfully bring you home.
