01592 - Time Versus Eternity

Time moves quickly, but eternity stretches beyond every clock and calendar. We often invest enormous energy in temporary achievements while forgetting that our greatest calling is to live for what lasts forever. Jesus invites us to lift our eyes beyond today and embrace God's eternal perspective with joyful expectancy now.

Every decision becomes significant when viewed through eternity. Kindness, forgiveness, generosity, prayer, and faithful obedience carry eternal value. Do not measure success only by possessions or applause. Measure life by faithfulness to Christ and the souls touched through your witness. Heaven celebrates what earth often overlooks because love never ends.

Colossians 3:2 (NIV) says, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Live each day with eternity in your heart. Let every moment become an investment in God's everlasting kingdom, trusting His promises above passing circumstances until faith becomes sight through Christ alone forever with unwavering hope.

Quote

Live today with eternity always before your eyes.

Prayer

Lord, help me invest my life in what will last for eternity. Amen.

Action Point

Make one decision today that reflects eternal rather than temporary priorities.
