Abide

To abide in Christ is more than a poetic phrase—it is a life posture. It’s not simply visiting His presence when needed but dwelling there continually. Jesus said, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself… neither can you, unless you abide in me.” (John 15:4, ESV). This abiding isn’t effort-driven; it’s relationship-driven. It’s a daily returning to the Vine who gives life, strength, and purpose.
In a culture obsessed with results and productivity, abiding teaches us to stay connected, not just busy. The fruit you long to see—peace, love, endurance—flows not from striving, but from remaining. When we remain in Him, we remain rooted, unshaken by storms and steady in calling.
When you abide the noise of constant problems and circumstances become quieter. Make abiding your ambition today. Stay close. Stay listening. Let His life flow through you.
Quote
Sometimes, you bear fruit by abiding, not sprinting.
Prayer
Lord, help me remain close to You in every moment of my day. Amen.
Action Point
Take 10 minutes in stillness, simply abiding in His presence.
