Addressing Materialism

When our lives focus on what we own or hope to own, our vision narrows and our joy thins. God calls us to a richer life, one where faith replaces material things. Freedom begins when we recognise that our value is not measured by what fills our hands but by who holds our hearts.
There is prophetic clarity in loosening our grip. When we place God first, material things return to their proper place. We begin to steward rather than cling, to give rather than guard. Contentment grows as faith deepens. God does not condemn provision, but He challenges obsession. He invites us into a life where heaven shapes our priorities and generosity becomes a testimony.
Scripture warns us gently and firmly, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10 NKJV). Choosing God over materialism realigns the soul with eternal truth.
Quote

Prayer
Lord, free my heart from materialism and teach me to trust You fully. Amen.
