Baptism

Baptism is far more than a ritual—it’s a declaration of a changed life. It symbolises dying to the old and rising in the new; it is the outward sign of an inward transformation. When we are baptised, we identify with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, boldly declaring, “I belong to Jesus.” It marks a moment of surrender, obedience, and joyful commitment to walk in His ways.
Romans 6:4 says, “We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life” (ESV). Baptism doesn’t save us—but it testifies to the salvation already received by grace through faith. It is a step of obedience and celebration.
Think on this, baptism is not the end of something, it’s the beginning of a Spirit-empowered journey with Christ.
Quote
Baptism is the echo of a heart transformed by grace.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for making me new—I choose to walk boldly in that new life. Amen.
Action Point
If you haven’t been baptised, pray and talk to someone about taking that next step.
