Being Bold

Have you been in a situation where silence is wise, yet there are also moments when boldness is the very act of obedience God requires? Boldness is sometimes not arrogance; it is the confidence that comes from knowing we are acting in alignment with His will. In such times, hesitation can rob us of opportunities to see God’s power at work.

The early believers prayed for courage, not comfort. They understood that there is a time to step forward, to speak truth, and to act with conviction. When the Spirit prompts us, we must remember that boldness can inspire faith in others and open the door for God’s glory to be revealed.

Scripture reminds us, “So speak the message, and do not be afraid of people” (Jeremiah 1:17 GNT). In those moments, heaven stands with us, and we find the strength to do what we could never do alone.

Quote

Holy boldness is faith in action.

Prayer

Lord, give me courage to act when You call me to stand. Amen.

Action Point

Take one step today that fear has been holding back.
