Books Of The Bible - Amos

The book of Amos may seem stern at first glance. It confronts injustice, pride, and empty religion. Yet beneath its firm words lies a deep call to authentic faith. God is pleased not only with prayer and praise, but with righteousness, compassion, and justice. Real faith touches everyday life. It changes how we treat others and how we honour God when no one is watching.
Amos gives hope as well as a warning. He reveals that God longs to restore His people when they return to Him. Faith in Amos is faith that acts, faith that repents, and faith that stands for what is right even when it is unpopular. True devotion is shown in both love and obedience.
Scripture declares, “Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (Amos 5:24 NASB). God wants a living faith that flows through our lives to bless others.
