Books Of The Bible - Nahum

Nahum is a small book in the Old Testament with a strong voice. It speaks into moments when injustice feels loud, and God feels silent. Nahum reminds us that God sees what others ignore and remembers what seems forgotten. Faith here is not gentle reassurance, but steady confidence that God remains just and attentive.

There is prophetic comfort in Nahum’s message. When life feels unfair, faith does not rush to fix everything. It waits with trust. Nahum teaches us that God’s timing is purposeful and His power restrained by mercy. Faith grows when we believe that God is working even when outcomes are not immediate.

Scripture declares, “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7 NKJV). To be known by God is assurance enough. Faith rests not in circumstances, but in the character of God Himself.
