Come Away With Me

To come away with God is to step aside from the noise of life and enter the stillness of His presence. It is not an escape from responsibility but a pause where the soul is refreshed. When we choose to retreat, we will find that burdens grow lighter, worries lose their grip, and our hearts are realigned with His will.
Jesus Himself often withdrew to quiet places to pray. In those moments of solitude, He drew strength for the mission ahead. If the Son of God needed time apart with His Father, how much more do we? Coming away with God is where clarity is birthed and courage renewed.
The psalmist reminds us, “Be still in the presence of the Lord and wait patiently for him to act” (Psalm 37:7 TLB). Stillness is not inactivity; it is faith in motion as we trust God to speak, guide, and sustain.
Quote
In stillness, God speaks most clearly.
Prayer
Lord, draw me into Your presence where I find true rest. Amen.
Action Point
Take ten minutes today to sit quietly with God in prayer.
