Consecration is the act of setting ourselves apart wholly for God’s purposes. It is more than a moment of dedication; it is a continual and everyday choice to live in a way that honours Him in thought, word, and deed. True consecration requires surrender — not holding back any area of our lives but allowing God full access to shape us for His glory.
When we consecrate ourselves, we invite the refining fire of the Holy Spirit to purify our hearts. This process is not always easy, yet it produces a life of depth, purpose, and spiritual authority. The more we yield to Him, the more His character is revealed through us.
The Bible calls us to this life of holiness: “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you” (Joshua 3:5 ESV). Wonders follow those who are fully His, for they walk in alignment with His will.
