Do What Brings You Joy

God never intended life to be lived in constant heaviness. He created joy as a gift, something that strengthens the soul and lifts the heart. When we do what brings us joy, especially the things God has placed within our gifting and calling, we honour the One who formed us. Joy is not selfish to delight in what God has given; it is worship expressed through a grateful life.
Joy brings energy where weariness once lived. It restores hope and reminds us that God is good. When we neglect joy, life becomes duty instead of devotion. Joy allows us to shine brighter and serve with greater strength. Joy is not found in grand achievements, but often in simple obedience and everyday blessings.
Scripture teaches, “May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed” (Psalm 20:4 GNT). God delights in seeing His children flourish.
Quote
Joy is the sound of a soul living in God’s design.
Prayer
Lord, help me to embrace the joy You have given and walk freely in it. Amen.
Action Point
Do one thing today that brings godly joy, and thank Him for it.
