Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark

Darkness has a way of stirring fear in us. It hides what we cannot see and reminds us of what we cannot control. Yet even in the darkest moments of life, God’s presence shines brighter than any shadow. The night may seem long, but it is never absent of His light. For Christians, darkness is not something to fear but an opportunity to trust.
Spiritually, darkness represents uncertainty, grief, or testing. But Scripture reminds us that God works powerfully in the dark. Seeds grow beneath the soil before they break into light, and faith deepens most when we cannot see the way ahead. God’s light is never extinguished; it simply waits for us to look toward it.
The Bible says, “Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me” (Psalm 23:4 TLB). God’s presence transforms darkness into peace.
