Don’t Be Deceived

The enemy works quietly, seeking to draw hearts away from the truth of God. His strategies are subtle, appealing to pride, fear, ego, or desire. To avoid being deceived, we must anchor our lives in God’s word and stay close to the Lord in prayer. The closer we walk with Christ, the clearer we recognise the counterfeit voice of the devil.
Deception thrives where there is spiritual neglect. When we neglect the Word, compromise in small decisions, or isolate ourselves from godly fellowship, we become vulnerable. But when we fill our minds with God’s truth and invite the Holy Spirit to guide us, lies lose their power. Discernment grows as we obey the light we already know.
The Bible warns us, “Be alert, stand firm in the faith, be brave, be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13 GNT). Victory over deception comes through vigilance, humility, and steadfast trust in the Lord.
Quote
Truth and diligence defeat deception every time.
Prayer
Lord, keep my heart alert and my mind rooted in Your Word. Amen.
Action Point
