Don’t Be Distracted

Distractions come in all shapes and sizes. Some are obvious, others are cleverly disguised as good opportunities. But not every open door is from God. If we are not intentional, we can drift from what the Lord has asked us to do. “Mark out a straight path for your feet; then stick to the path and stay safe” (Proverbs 4:26, TLB). This simple verse in God’s Word reminds us that staying focused is not just wise, it is protective.

When God gives you a calling, an assignment or even a prompting, it is vital to keep your attention. The enemy is a master of misdirection and redirection, but God is the Master of purpose. Stay prayerful. Say no to what pulls you off track. Say yes to what keeps you aligned with His plan.

Your focus is your faith in action. Set your eyes on Him and keep walking.

Quote

Distraction is often the enemy’s way of keeping you from destiny.

Prayer

Lord, help me keep my eyes fixed on You and not be led astray. Amen.

Action Point

Eliminate one known distraction this week and refocus on God’s assignment.
