Empowering children in the Church isn’t just about teaching them—it’s about enabling them. When we give children something to do, we’re showing them that they matter in God’s house. Whether it’s reading a verse, welcoming at the door, helping with tech or worship, we’re not keeping them busy—we’re nurturing future leaders who know they belong.
1 Timothy 4:12 says, “Don’t let anyone put you down because you’re young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity” (MSG). Children don’t need to wait until they’re older to be used by God. When we empower them, we cultivate a living faith that lasts.
Don’t forget Jesus encouraged those around Him to let Children come to Him to expeience the Kingdom of God. Let’s raise up the next generation not just to know about Jesus, but to serve Him with purpose and joy.
